Requirements for the Chinese Major and Minor

The requirements for the degree of Bachelor of Arts with a major in Chinese are as follows:


	II. Departmental requirements:


	A.	Completion of 21 semester hours of upper division courses taught in Chinese, including CHIN 4351 and CHIN 4360.

Completion of one of the following additional requirements:

1. Nine additional semester hours of upper division courses in the Chinese program.

2. The lower division courses, or the equivalent, and at least 3 semester hours of upper division courses in a second foreign language.

Completion of at least one semester or summer abroad in a Chinese-speaking country.

The requirements for a minor in Chinese are as follows:


	Completion of at least 18 semester hours, of which no more than 6 may be lower division.
	A minimum of 12 hours toward the minor must be completed at Trinity.
