PRODUCTION STAFF

As we have seen and discussed, a theatre performance includes words, action, environment and the audience. We refer to the entire artistic endeavor as a "Theatre Production". It takes a collaborative effort of combined specialities to produce an evening's event. The production is the guided realization of crews, actors, designers, business people and directors.

A significant portion of your course grade will be based on your work as a member of the artistic staff. In Drama 1304, in addition to your actual accomplishments, the comments and observations you record in your Journal regarding your crew involvement will be important.

PLEASE READ: Your assignment was made in consideration of many factors. In most cases, you have been given one of two choices you indicated we wanted to perform. Those who did not provide suggestions were assigned responsiblities. In a few cases, due to your proven abilities, the assignment was made to enhance the production team.

This is a TEAM EFFORT.
