SCENE 3:  KING’S LIBRARY IN THE ROYAL PALACE

SCENERY/PROPS:  King sits on his royal platform dictating to his secretary.
Writing materials.

 PROPS:  Tuptim carried in on a Palanquin from the Prince of Burma.

 PROPS:  Anna’s letter of employment from the King

SCENE 3:  EXTERIOR DROP  (Cross over)

PROPS:  Group of priest cross-over (props?)

 SCENE 4:  THE SCHOOLROOM

 PROPS:  Large Stand with Map.  Ancient Map showing a very large Siam with a heroic figure of an armored king superimposed.  Adjoining is a much smaller Burma, with a pathetic naked figure.  Blue ocean, Red Siam.  Green Burma.  School supplies and Books.

SCENE 1:  RECEPTION HALL OF THE PALACE (SCHOOLROOM)

PROPS:  Floor and tables are covered with dress-making materials.
Chinese artist is painting the face of one of the ladies.  Make-up.

King give Anna a piece of paper with list of subjects for discussion.
Sir Edward Ramsay with monocle.  (Costumes???)
