OKLAHOMA! PROP LIST

The organization with tables, etc., is a reprint from the final prop run version in the 1998 MUNY production. The Set Dressing is based on the 2007 design. Paul directed the ’98 production. Of course, there may be changes.

ACT I PRESET

Set Dressing

Laurey’s farmhouse and Onstage for top of show:

1. Rocking or kitchen chair (stock)

2. Outdoor bench

3. Clothesline hung on hooks. White cotton ¼”. See elevation for approx length and rigging points. Fit in place

4. Quilt on clothesline with clothes pins. Weight bottom for wind. See ground plan for sizes. See elevation for style.

5. Water Pump to spike. We should have one in stock.

6. Bucket and ladle near pump. Wood.

7. Butter churn to spike in front of bench

8. Eggbeater on unit backstage near door

9. Laurey’s basket on unit backstage near door (green napkin on top with daisies)

10. Crockery jar near Laurey’s basket

11. 4 matching napkins on top of Laurey’s basket

12. Flowers… lots of them. Note flowers ground the 30’ linear feet of the fence units. The elevation indicates additional flowers See someone from the design studio

13. Ivy for days. There is a trellis included in the drafting. Note placement on GP. This trellis needs to hold an actor who will climb up the trellis to the porch roof and bang on a pan. Plastic or silk ivy will climb up the trellis. We will add some flowers to the trellis. Ivy will also climb up the facing of the house, blending into painted detail.

14. Lavendar curtain for upstairs window. Practical. Sam will shop the fabric.

15. Framed family portrait a la 1920s dress the interior 8x16 backing flat.
