RELATED IDEAS FROM PAST DESIGNS

FOR DISCUSSION

Porgy and Bless Original Design above and below. Wonderful tone and texture of this opera. It is too representational. May I assume that this in NOT a direction to consider?

OLIVER. This is a unit set in Dicken's London Slums. The steps unit UL is connected to a slip wagon. IN this position, it reveals a tavern. Below, the step unit slips under back inside the unit set for another look.

Cabaret. A unit set with steel framed levels.

A similar floor plan with different application for 'URINETOWN". Note the DS subway and Man Hole "traps."

Another unit set idea. Here the fabric facing could be lifted to reveal bazaar shops or entrances, etc.
