COLOR -- GLASS MENAGERIE

The following are color and tonal indications for GLASS MENAGERIE

REDUCED DINNING ROOM VIEW 10/2/98

Grant Wood Painting of Iowa

This painting recreates the tonal quality I see for this produciton. The musty amber tones represent the a feeling of the thick lighting. The sepia tones in the foreground hills for the wood work. The Tuscan Red of the barn I see in the Day Bed with the side barn in the dinning room area (more dusty rose). I see the table linen in the areas of the high value whites and gold. I would use the dark green for accents. Perhaps some of the muted green yellow in the side chairs.

The balance of colors in NOT what I see in our production. The Tuscan Red of the barn will be a principle color as faded carpet tones.
