In 2017 my Website was migrated to the clouds and reduced in size.
Hence some links below are broken.
One thing to try if a “www” link is broken is to substitute “faculty” for “www”
For example a broken link
http://faculty.trinity.edu/rjensen/Pictures.htm
can be changed to corrected link
http://faculty.trinity.edu/rjensen/Pictures.htm
However in some cases files had to be removed to reduce the size of my Website
Contact me at
rjensen@trinity.edu if you really need to file that is missing

Set 1 of an Ugly Prefabricated House with Great Views

Bob Jensen at Trinity University

Down the road an ugly prefabricated house is still being completed (after two years)
From the our road it now stands in the way of great views across its 12-acre lot
It does not even have a deck or a decent patio

This monstrosity is so ugly that a painter of ugly houses from out-of-state
made special trips to paint its construction at various stages
Note the blue outhouse painted into the canvas

This is how the lot looked before the machines arrived

Construction started with the digging of a driveway

Actually the outhouse looks better than the house that was eventually hauled in

The winds are so strong along this ridge that it was hard to keep the outhouse standing upright
This was not the old Halloween outhouse tipping stunt

After the basement was ready the walls and roof parts arrived by big trucks
These parts were all wrapped in white plastic

That's the end of Set 1 of this picture set.
